Montgomery City Public Library

 

Attendance: President Patti Pazdera, Vice President Theo Tate, Secretary Angel Davis, Treasurer Jim Guffie, Library Director Gaylee Harris, Members Jamie Bukovac, Jenny Cox, Mark Clements, Pat Garrett, Molly Taylor, and Anna Powell.

 

The Montgomery City Public Library Board of Trustees virtual meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m., February 18 by President Patti Pazdera. The agenda was approved. The consent agenda was approved.

Patti Pazdera took questions on Google Meet for the Board Training.

 

Gaylee Harris presented the Library Director’s report.

There were no communications from Board Members.

 

The By-Laws Committee met. There are currently no updates for the By-Laws. We will be looking to create procedure manuals. The committee will be meeting again in response to new federal and state mandates.

The Grant Committee met. The Tech Ladder Grant is currently being worked on.

Anna Powell presented the Friends of the Library report. The FOTL is currently working on a grant for homebound book circulation. 

 

In Unfinished Business, the Kitchen and Creation Station Committee members were confirmed: Pat Garrett, Jenny Cox, and Jamie Bukovac.

 

In New Business, Chromebooks for the Board Members are in and ready to be picked up. Patti Pazdera and Gaylee Harris presented a draft application for selecting new board members.

 

There were no Patron Comments.

 

Jim Guffie moved to adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Section 610.021 (1)(2)(3) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri pertaining to legal action, personnel, or real estate at 7:33 p.m.

 

Jamie Bukovac moved to adjourn the regular meeting at 7:50 p.m.
