Montgomery City Public Library

Attendance: President Patti Pazdera, Vice President Theo Tate, Secretary Angel Davis, Library Director Gaylee Harris, Members Jamie Bukovac, Jenny Cox, Mark Clements, Pat Garrett, Molly Taylor, and Anna Powell.

The Montgomery City Public Library Board of Trustees meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m., November 13 by President Patti Pazdera. The agenda was approved. The consent agenda was approved.

There was no Board Training.

Gaylee Harris presented the Library Director’s report.

There were no communications from Board Members.

Theo Tate presented the Programs Committee report. Theo Tate presented the Programs Committee report. The library will be looking for someone to run the Robotics Club after the start of the fiscal year.

Anna Powell presented the Friends of the Library report. Audiobooks were donated to the New Florence Nursing Home. A Cover One machine was donated to the library. The Friends will be hosting a book sale on December 14 with setup on December 13. 

In Unfinished Business, an update on the hot water heater was given. There was discussion on what to do with the surplus funds from the last fiscal year. A proposal will be brought to the December meeting.

There was no new business.

There were no Patron Comments.

Pat Garrett moved to adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Section 610.021 (1)(2)(3) of the Revised Statutes of Missouri pertaining to legal action, personnel, or real estate at 7:46 p.m.

Theo Tate moved to adjourn the regular meeting at 7:49 p.m.
